Well, the herbal supplements I got for Dixie are a no go. She won't eat it. Period. She won't touch anything in her food bucket if I put the herbs in there.

Back to the drawing board....

Darn! I thought you'd stumbled upon a perfect solution there.
Ummm... can horsies tolerate chocolate sauce? With a hint of peppermint in it? Hm?

You could try molasses, however, in my experience with herbs is that the herbs overpower everything else. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck feeding herbal supplements to horses long term......they seem to dislike them eventually and refuse to eat.

Now with powders I can add to water and squirt daily in the mouth

Nope, nothing works. They smell pretty bad. Well, they don't smell BAD, they actually smell good, but they do smell like strong pizza herbs. If they smelled like alfalfa it might help.

Also, I have returned supplements if my horse won't eat it. I believe SmartPak is great with returns too. Not sure about the shipping though and if it is worth it. I figure that it's the manufacturer's fault if they didn't develop something a horse will WANT to eat with their grain.
