Since a lot of people watch it, by the looks of the 'Nothing on TV' thread, I'm starting a new one.

I was looking at the bios of the crews.

The brothers who run the Time Bandit built their own boat! Maybe that's not too out there, but to me that seems crazy!

If you like reality TV and aren't watching Deadliest Catch, you should start - this is the most real reality TV out there.

Plus, Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs narrates and I don't know about everyone else, but I have a little crush on him.

I've caught one episode,so far. I like the show and I hate the so called "reality" shows! I must make a mental note to watch more of them. Right now it's NHL playoff time and I won't have a DVR until next week.

He's got those truck commercials now too. I like that he gets to surprise me on network TV now sometimes.

We love that show! IT's one of the shows the four of us watch together!

We also love Dirty Jobs and Mike Rowe. Did you know he was an opera singer?? I find that so funny. lol

Yep. They did a Dirty Jobs once where he answered letters or something. I can't remember where now. Anyway, someone asked him for more details about it and he insists he wasn't very good. (But I don't believe him.) He said where he sang too, but I can't remember that either. Man, I'm worthless.

Do you have a favorite crew? we like the "NORTHWESTERN"
Sig's crew.

I haven't seen that show but I like the Dirty Jobs show he does. Here's a little Mike Rowe info from imdb.com:

Attended Towson State University in Maryland.

He appeared in several dozen Tylenol commercials.

Mike Rowe sang professionally with the Baltimore Opera.

Mike worked as a host selling over $100 million of "simulated" diamonds on QVC.

The heck with the crew, I told Ken just last week that, if I ever decided to work on a fishing boat, I want to work for Sig. That man is a genuis!

Baltimore! That's it. I can't believe I didn't remember that seeing as how my husband lived there for years.

QVC! I didn't know that fact.

I like the Northwestern crew the best. Sig's brother Edgar that works on deck always makes me laugh - "I got pooped on by a seagull." You had to be there, it was just the way he said it and the look on his face. I cracked up.

We always DVR this show and watch every ep. I almost didn't mind paying 23.99 for my crab lags last week now that I know what it takes to get them on my plate! (ok it was 13.99 with my $10 discount, but still...)

And I agree - Blake is hot and he deserved what he got with the lobster pot for 'telling' (can't elaborate cuz I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who may not have seen the most recent ep yet)
