Last night was long and a bit teary for me but for DD High school is over! The kids in her class have delt with alot of grief the past 4 years. Out of a class of 142 they have lost 8 parents, 10 friends (kids who were killed in car accidents or took their own lives) and quite a few grandparents. Through it all these kids have been class acts and have truly been there for each other. A friend of DD's lost her mom to cancer saturday yet she was still able to walk tall at graduation. She is off to Harvard soon and I'm sure has an very proud angel smiling down on her.
RIP "Nichole's mom" and to the class of 2009 CONTRAULATIONS!

Mine too The entire class is going to the wake today...It is in NY so they will take the school bus one last time....The school is so good to offer the bus, a driver and Father Brian to go with them, it's a small close bunch of kids!

I could never have worn that dress in front of a bunch of priests.

OH MY! Hubby said the boobs needed to be covered! She is the Jr. Class President. Funny thing the girls who graduated were not allowed to have "bare sholders" and it was reminded that "as always dress is to be modest" and they wore gowns over their dresses. She was standing right next to the Bishop for crying out loud.
