Our new puppy is only 1 week old, but we are trying to prepare ourselves for her. Our 1 1/2 year old was crate trained by the breeder before he came to live with us. That breeder was home with them full time. The new puppy is not going to be crate trained prior to coming to live with us. Both of the breeders work full time. My question is, how do I crate train this puppy? I also work full time. I will have a dog walker coming during the day, but I don't want to traumatize her by sticking her in a crate that she has never been in. Any suggestions? Thanks.
