While we were away last weekend (awesome trip, pics to follow) I tried some mineral makeup in the mall. It was called Micabella. The lady applied it to my face, it felt wonderful and looked great. But........it was $64.95 for the foundation and $54.95 for the blush so i didn't buy it. I've been searching for something similar and have come across Merle Norman, they make a mineral makeup for i think around $25.00. Anyone use this?

No, but we have a Merle Norman store here in town and everybody loves it. I use Bare Minerals.

I've never used them. Have you tried the Loreal stuff? That got rave reviews here.

I am a Bare Minerals gal as well.

I understand some of the other brands of mineral make-ups are awesome, but I have not tried them. I tend to stick with what works for me.

Both are less expensive than what you looked at.

I switched to Bare Minerals about 6 weeks ago, and have been very happy. I got the starter face kit at the Bare Minerals store for (I think) $60, Ebay has a lot of Bare Minerals sellers, too, once you know what you want.

I'm a Mary Kay girl, but I don't wear any foundation. I use all their cleansers and creams.

I got into using Mary Kay because the girl in the office building next to me carries it in her car and I can just go shopping in her car anytime I want. It's pretty fun. She gives me free samples all the time. And left overs from her parties.
