Friday (after being home from 1 work about a minute) Clancey suffered severe distress lasting about 6 violent minutes.

All over body tremours and tics, moving in continual circles, falling over etc.... Stayed close and helped him through it then got ready to see vet. Pretty sure it was a stroke as he really couldn't walk.

Vet confirmed a Geriatric stroke. eyes constantly moving back and forth in his head, and continual falling over.

Slept with him on the main floor (to avoid stairs) over the weekend. He is a little sturdier on his feet, hasn't fallen over since Saturday and is eating well.

Vet says they can make a full recovery, and everything could be as it was except for possibly his really pronounced head tilt.

Anyhoo - good thoughts if you've got time, also any input if you've had a puppers go through this.

Thanks all !

Sending good thoughts for Clancey. That must have been scary. Ranger has had two instances in his life similar to that, mostly the walking in circles and falling down. He recovered without incident but it was scary when it happened and he was scared too. Let's hope it's a one-off for Clancey.

Oh no! I had a dog who had this happen when she was about 9. She recovered completely and lived to be 14 1/2. Good thoughts for your boy.
