It's teeny tiny but I could see it. It seemed to me with the sound and the shaking of the head that it was almost like she had something stuck up there. Bunker had a thistle that worked its way up there and sometimes it didn't bother her at all and sometimes it must have moved and she would do the coughing/sneezing/shaking her head thing. The vet finally was able to find it with a scope that went way up her nose. Have they checked for something like that?

I had the same thought as Robin. Do you have foxtail grasses where you are? That's what dogs around here do when they get one up their nose.

My laptop, which suddenly seems ancient now that DH has a new one, was taking so long to load it I gave up. But my first thought was that maybe she had a coke problem before you rescued her...

Teddy has done that hacking cough occasionally. For him, it's allergies. He's always sneezing and coughing this time of year.

Hard to say, it does seem like there is some type of itch in her throat, nothing that is majorly distracting just a little annoying.

I guess give the benedryl a few days to work and see what happens.
