I have ONE pair of jeans that I'll wear out in public. I noticed last time I wore them that the zipper just wouldn't stay up. It's not broken. There's just no resistance anymore and it slides down.

Can you do anything about that?

Please don't tell me I have to go buy jeans.

I don't think it is fixable. You could always put in a new zipper. There is a mechanism in the *********** that keeps it locked.

So that's what it is. Crap. Tomorrow's casual day. I'm not sure I could manage a new zipper in jeans at all.
How about getting some velcro and attaching it in the fly and velcroing it shut?

Hmmm.... I could gorilla glue them. I can slide them up and down without unfastening. :p Not straight out of the dryer, mind you, but after about an hour.
