Can you back up camera directly to ipod or flash drive?

We are going on vacation in a month (19 days in Europe), and I'm going to be buying a bigger memory card, but I was wondering if I can transfer pics directly from my camera to a flash drive? Or to my ipod? I don't want to run out of space on my memory card. I'm taking a point-and-shoot and also my Rebel XT.

Yes there is a device you can get to load pictures onto your ipod.. Eric did it for me in Vegas one time...

Thanks! I checked the 4 and 8 GB prices at costco, but newegg seems even cheaper.

I love Newegg... Transcend makes pretty good CF cards especially for the price.
