Yesterday we went to a C-WAGS rally trial. It was held at the facility where we train, less than a mile from my house. Love that! We did Zoom 2 rally. Zoom is rally that has no sits or downs. Zoom 2 is kind of fun because it may include a tunnel or 2. This course did, twice. We scored 95 out of 100 and got second place. This was our 3rd leg toward our title. In C-WAGS, you need 4 legs to title. We also did PRO Rally and got a 97 out of 100 and first place. That was our first Pro Rally leg. Pro Rally has some tricky signs like a double schutzund turn, a directed jump, and a drop on recall. We lost 3 points when I had to redo a sign, (the back up 3 steps).

It was fun and since it was practically in my back yard, it didn't monopolize my day!

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun. We don't have C-Wags around here. Those exercises sound like a lot of challenge and fun (would love to have tunnels in rally!!)
Congrats on your wins. Looks like you had great scores. What happened on the three steps back? That has become one of Ruger's favorite signs, and we rarely see it around here!

Ann - Sounds like fun. I was talking to Doreen with Taz, her older BC. You probably know who she is. She was trying to describe Zoom Rally to me. Sounds like you and Miles had a great day. Any time a show is within 30 minutes it is so great. I may have to give C-WAGS a try. B

Oh yes, I know Doreen and Taz. We yakked it up for a good part of the day. I adore Taz (who doesn't?). She likes to take Taz to trials that have Zoom because there are no sits and downs and Taz still loves to work. She can also pretty much request whatever jump height she wants for him.
