I know a groomer who gives her dogs natural garlic supplements instead of using Frontline and she says it works pretty well.. I'm not sure that's the exact product she used, though.

My sister uses BOG and while her dog was in a field with another dog (not on BOG) for an hour, her dog had no ticks. The other had about 36.

Tells me it works.

While the granule is cheaper most dogs eat the tablets better.
