So Brody had been doing so so so good. Happy as can be.

We were warned things wouldn't last forever and when they went downhill it could happen very fast.

Thursday he pee'd in his crate, Friday he vomited and pee'd in his crate.
Friday night he stopped eating food.
Saturday morning he ate some canned I/d food. Came back up all over the drive way. All Saturday for most of the day it was lots of vomiting.
Sunday he stopped eating completly.
He's now showing to be in some pain as he can be a bit snippy.

But for some reason he still wants to retrieve his tennis ball. He's played a few times over the weekend. But it's only for a toss or 2 and he's very slow, only a trot.

I am so sad for him. The look in his eyes is killin' me.

we made a memorial stone thingy w/ him last night. did hid paw prints. we put a tennis ball in there too.
He loves to play w/ them.

It's a VERY difficult time for all of you but you'll know when the time comes.

I've been praying that he passes in his sleep.
I just don't want to make the decision for him.
What if it's the wrong decision???

I prayed the same for Tango and Sammy, but it didn't happen.

Like my vet told me, you'll see it in his eyes. He'll look at you, and you can see something different/sad/pleading in his eyes.

But then it comes right back.

He's will be my first experience w/ death (for someone close to me)

Last time he held food down was last thursday night.
That was also the last time he had his meds.

he pooped yesterday but it was like a pebble of a poop

he isn't peeing much either. We can barely get him to get up to go outside, and there haven't been any accidents in the house. We offer him water and he refuses. But will take a few sips every once and a while.

He is acting the same way he did before.....when we found out he had cancer.
