Anyone watch this show?

I watched the old show, way back in the 70's. It was campy and fun.

I've tried watching this newer remake on Sci-fi but just can't ever get into it. Just sat down again for an hour and watched it and ended up at the hours end by wondering why folks think this is so good.

And, yes, I do like Science Fiction stuff, but this is just too gritty and dark and all I want to do is give the people a bath and clean clothes.

I must be mellowing in my old age.

I saw part of Attack of the Clones (Star Wars) the other night and thought it looks childish, the characters on the creatures looked like dolls, the background looked really faked... and I'm a big Star Wars fan.

Must be something in the water...
