I thought about you this morning, and wondered how Mocha is doing around Aubrey now? I hope she's improved!! :)

Thanks everyone. It's going, she has her good days and bad but we've learned to deal with it and manage it better. I can't say the medication is helping any yet it's been 5 weeks so we'll finish this bottle and talk with the vet to see if she thinks something else might help more. We have a sedative for her for times when we are having a lot of company or something where we know she'll be really anxious. We are finished with the Control Unleashed class now I really liked it and got a lot of good ideas to help her focus more on me when she starts getting upset. DH has been walking her every morning and I take her and Aubrey in the evenings. It's still stressful sometimes but it's manageable right now hopefully it will improve yet but we'll keep at it. Aubrey is really getting mobile now so it's getting more difficult since she wants to be down and I don't trust her down with Mocha in the room so we have to seperate her and she really wants to be with me. I think we could make more progress if I had more time to work with her but with me working full time and taking care of the house and other dogs and Aubrey there just isn't enough time in the day to devote a large chunk to training her each day so we do what we can.

It sounds positive though. I would imagine over time it can only get better, as long as you guys keep working with her (which I know you are!). Maybe another class would help?

I don't know if another class would do much good she's excelent at class and her obedience in those situations is great. The trainer (actually a few) have recommended taking her to into Rally she's really good at it. It's just a matter of getting her to focus at home. There are relaxation exercises that I think will help a lot too but they take time to do each day and I'm not getting it done enough but I'm trying. I wish I could take a few more hours off each week to work with her and get things done around home. I feel like I'm running in circles all the time. We're working on it though it's just going to take longer than I wish it would.

No, I was thinking more along the lines of......putting her in another class that will use her mind in other distracting ways...tire her out...like agility or something.
