Oooo, I wanna know too! How is she, Barb?
Thanks sorry I ment to post an update and haven't got around to it yet.
So far it's going ok she's still really anxious but I think I'm learning how to handle it and diffuse the worst of it without her getting to the point where she really freaks out. The Control Unleashed class we are taking is GREAT!! I really like the methods and I think they can really help us. It will take some time but I can see it making a difference. The vet did the bloodwork to make sure everything else looked good and it came back clean so they started her on Clomicalm which is sort of a Doggie Cymbalta from what I understand. It will take a few weeks to get into her system and start to help (if it does) hopefully that with the training will get her a little more relaxed. The vet also gave me valume for her but it doesn't seem to help at all.

So for now we're working on the CU training and trying to prevent as much anxiety as we can.

Well I'm glad that you are seeing a difference and I hope it continues to work itself out.

Good luck and keep us updated! :)
Sounds promising, Barb! I'm so glad to hear it. :)
I'm so glad! I hope things continue to go well. :)
So glad things are going well! The CU class sounds awesome :)
Clomicalm worked well for Deacon and some obsessive issues he had. It works best when used with a reconditioning program like you are doing.
I am so glad things seem to be working out. Continued good thoughts for all of you. :)

That's good to hear I don't know anyone else that's had a dog on anything like that so I wasn't sure what to expect. The vet did say it could take 4-6 weeks to get the full effect. I hope it helps. We are definatly working on the reconditioning as well I know it's not a miracle drug I just need some help.

It does take a while - seems for us it was about 4 weeks. You have the right approach, its not a miracle drug, but it should assist you in your efforts
Glad to hear that things seem to be on the right track:)
