HK went to the U this morning to find out what if anything needed to be done because she managed to make her stitches disappear. The good news is helling is proceeding well, gums don't have to be recut and restitched. It will only take an extra couple weeks to complete. So soggy kibble and no hard toys, chews, or tug of war will extend til Nov 1. Other than that, she is doing great. For what it is worth, they spent another hour, vet and tech, with her mainly because she wanted toplay and not let anyone look in her mouth. No charge. I love them more each visit.

Time to celebrate again, so she got to the dog park and some swimming in the river.

Since I am taking the day off, she got to stay noise in the house this morning when we got home. Then I hear a strange noise downstairs and go to investigate. This is what I found.

She hasn't been there is 6 months. We have commented that she couldn't fit any more in her favorite hiding place when bad as a pup.

So, the search was on to find what she had been into. She fond one of our granddaughters bibs that was left out on the high chair tray. Well it was a bib anyway. Did I say something last night in a post that she didn't take things from tables?????

You have to watch those ole bibs. They can make a good dog do bad, bad things. Sounds like that one already has a start on poor sweet HK. :) Bad bib!!! She even felt so bad she went and did her own time out. It doesn't get any sweeter than that. :D

Okay! I started the thread, so I can hijack it.

I had to use the old camera, new one isn't here yet. Had to try to turn it on 5 times before it decided I pushed the button the right way.

Why tell my sad story?

The new camera is 7 miles from the house. sitting in a delivery depot, not yet on a truck to go out in the morning, and he doesn't get to or neighborhhood until ~5:00pm, and they won't let me go pick it up!

Of course it wasn't that close when the picture had to be taken, and the batteries probably aren't charged, and it will probably take me an hour of reading before I can take the first picture of anything. But I am mad anyway.

Patience, Ed, sheesh!! :D ;D

You'll have lots of time with the new camera, and trust me, before long you'll have waaaay more pictures than you know what to do with. ;) :D

Sucks that you have to wait, but I'm sure you'll make up for lost time quickly!! :D

Dad and Mom are super happy for her. I am not sure she cares, other than she doesn't know why all her toys have been taken away. She get some of themback on Wednesday when I get home from work. She will be a lot happier then, although she thinks she is ready to do everything now.

I think she was mad at me this morning at the river when i wouldn't throw any sticks. I even took the ones away that she went off and found. Hunter has seen her jumping around in anticipation of a throw, and I wouldn't throw it. She was not happy with me. I am going to take Fridya off and take her and Newman back up to the river and throw some soft bumpers for them. Of course with Newman along, she may not care about swimming out for bumpers.
