My PetsMart has there own brand of dog food, Authority. I don't like the regular one, but the Harvest Baked is their "premium" and it looks really good. It's only $30 for 35 lbs. I found it rated high on a list somewhere, so I switched her from Nutro. I've been feeding it to Izzy for at least a month. She is doing well and really seems to like it. I know that should be all that matters, but I'm just worried because with all the talk about dog food, I haven't heard much about it. I also wanted to let you guys know about it, in case you hadn't heard of it. The vet at Petsmart actually told me that Authority wasn't that great, but he didn't realized that they had the Harvest Baked and was surprised when he saw the ingredients. Here are the top ingredients: Chicken, Whole Ground Wheat, Chicken Meal, Whole Gournd Barley, Canola Oil, Carrots, Salmon Meal, Dried Egg Product, Spinach, Tomatoes, Broccoli, Cranberries, Natural Flavor, Chicory Rooot Extract, Flaxseed, Mnerals... It also has Glucosamine and Chondroitin (although they are at the end of the list). Analysis: Protein - 29.0, Fat 15.0, Fiber 3.0, Omega6 3.0, Omega3 0.6 Glucosamine 375 mg, Chondroitin 100 mg... and more. Any thoughts?
