Buddy has hair around his eyes that grows in a different direction, then meets the hair on his snout. It looks to me like he has zippers around his eyes. Does he?

Hmmmm. It appears that way doesn't it? I have never seen zippers around the eyes - just one down the middle and also a "bar" is a horizontal line across between the eyes. I guess I would call those simply cowlicks and not zippers.

Not sure, but I like it! My Sam has a zipper down the middle of his snout.

I've wondered if that what it was too, Molly's eye furs (lol) have a similar pattern.

No I don't consider them zippers. Zippers for me are up and down the nose (Cinderbay's Rhumba) or across the nose.

To me, the ones around the eyes are normal.

So Buddy's normal, that's good. I just thought they looked odd, since Shadow's hair all went in the same direction. Doesn't matter, he's still a sweetheart and we love him more every day.
