Tree pollen is horrendous here in Houston right now. Everything is coated with a green powder. As soon as I see the oak trees start to bud out to bloom I start on a prescription Omnaris nasal spray and Zyrtec antihistamine. So far all I'm fighting is a slight sore throat and it's not hit my upper respiratory system yet, knock on wood. I battle this for three months each spring and fall. In the fall it's the Ragweed.
Hopefully we will get a good rain soon to wash it all away but until that happens.....:yuck:

John, I'm a watery-eyed sneezing mess right now. I hate oak pollen and never knew it until I moved here!

Spring is the worst season for me (at least early Spring). I have a bit of the nasal crud during the fall, but nothing compared to right about now. I was hoping the dominant pollen here would be different than in Kentucky and my allergies wouldn't be as bad, but all that hope was for naught.
