i heard this morning they are trying to pass a bill that will tax that money at 90% for any of the companies that received federal assistance.
i think someone said it here yesterday, but if the bonuses went to the "sales" people who really were/are working to get the company straightened out, it doesn't outrage me so much as if the money went to some big whigs that caused it to go bust in the first place. kinda of like being between a rock and a hard place. maybe the best thing would have been just to let them all fail and start from scratch.....dunno.
