Over the fact that the Administration requested that language be inserted in the AIG bailout to ensure that the bonuses could happen, Chris Dodd lied about it, and then they all spent the whole week expressing moral outrage and proclaiming their intentions to get that money back for the American people?

I know that people who aren't fans of Obama are pissed off, but what about those of you that like him? Does it bother you?

If they were brought in for the salvation of these companies. And they achieved that goal. I have no problem w/them being compensated for it.

That's called salary.

I do have a problem with the idea of bonus. For what? Doing their jobs??

That's called excess.

And if a company wants to do that w/its own profits, whatever. Who am I to argue.

But when excesses are paid with MY money.

That's called ripoff.

Not performance-based.

We had a program whereby employees who recommend another professional for work receive a small stipend if that person is hired and remains for six months.

But cash atop a paid salary. For being extra-special good?

No.

Any guesses as to how long it is before IMPEACH OBAMA bumper stickers start churning off the presses. And 01.20.12!

THIS is exactly why I found myself unable to get all hepped up about the new administration coming in. BobPR took my reticence as being an OBAMA HATER. It's not that. It was just the knowledge that something sooner or later was going to cause his stock to drop.

And now it has.

FWIW, I would have expected the same disappointment -- at some point or another -- over the McCain Administration.
