Does anyone have any suggestions for outside ant killers? They're just regular black ants. We've tried an Ortho ant killer, Sevin Dust ant killer, Clorox (someone suggested it and promised it would work). These are stubborn ants - nothing is working for them. :( I'd really love for my kiddos to be able to play outside without getting bites all over them.

I would not use any sort of poison. Your Lab will get it on their feet, then lick their feet.

I've heard that cornmeal is good, they take it back to the nest but can't digest it so they starve - or something to that effect.

This is for the front yard. They don't go into the front yard so the dogs really aren't a concern. They either go to the car or are on a leash and go on the driveway to the road. :) We don't seem to have as bad of a problem with ants in the backyard for some reason...
