The premium for the Event I'm going to at the end of April states that all dogs must be current for the Parvovirus vaccinaton. Is that included in the DHLPP? Has anyone ever had to show proof at an Event before? I'm sure Moose is up to date since I take him every year, just wondering if I need to have proof with me.

I have never had to show proof of shots. I used to carry the info in the car with me, but finally just quit as nobody ever asks for it.

Yes, parvo is in the DHLPP shot.

I haven't come across needing to show proof either.

Most of the time I forget their tags, because they are on their other collars, not the ones I use for shows. We show sometimes in WY and they are really strict about rabies, so I bring the paper receipt when I go there.

This year I started making copies of their vaccination records. I keep one in a file, one on file at the club, and one in their red bag which goes everywhere they go. Since they are never wearing their rabies tag, I thought I should do this.

But no, I've never been asked for proof either. :)

I've been doing pretty much the same thing for years now. A copy of vacs records, microchip info and license receipt go in the glove box of each vehicle and one in the training bag. I also have at least one extra in the file at home.

****'s collar stayed on him until we got to the training/match sight, then I took it off and put it in the training bag. I'm one of those who panic if my dog doesn't have their tags on. Weird, I know.
