I may just be being paranoid but would like your thoughs. When I got home from work around 1:30am both dogs meet me at the door happy and energetic as usual. Both went out and to potty and then inside. While I was getting into bed I noticed Skye was licking her mouth, pacing and drooling. I couldn't find anything in her mouth or throat. After a short while she started vomiting and threw up about 2 cups of unidgested dog food and slimy foam. I searched the house and found no evidence of mischief and I know that she didn't get into anything outside because I was with her the whole time. My husband was home all evening and he didn't see her get into anything either. This went on for about 30 minutes so I finally called the vet and went to the Emergency Clinic. By the time we got there she was no longer pacing or frantic and only occasionally would lick and drool. They couldn't see anything in her mouth or throat, watched her for awile and then gave her a shot of pepcid. Once we got home she did the pacing, licking thing again for about 15 minutes and then calmed down and slept. This am she ate her breakfast well but is very quiet and sleeping alot. My quess is she is just tired from the late night but........it was two years ago we lost her sister (same parents, different litter due to a tumor, same age). Neither the vet, nor myself felt any masses or swelling in her belly but I am still concerned. Any advise? Thanks for letting me vent.....

Definetly not being paranoid; I'm the same way.
Bailey had a vomiting incident a few weeks back, and even after we found out the cause - chewing on some clay pigeons) it was really scary.
Hope Skye feels better!

Not paraniod at all. I think after a day or two if she gets plenty of rest but is still lethargic I might get her thoroughly checked out.
