Ups and downs. Feasts and famines. Kids and schedules. Fights and snuggles. Winters cold and summers hot. Bills, births, deaths. Songs, dances, tears. Uphill and downhill. Gray hairs and dog hairs. Late nights and early mornings. Candlelit dinners and takeout in the car. Running pell-mell and snoozing on the couch.

Quite a ride.

I don't know I could even have imagined what I was getting into in putting on that tux, that ring, 21 years ago today. It hasn't ALL been fun. But it's been MOSTLY fun.....

Love ya, Eileen! You're a great wife, a great mom to the kids, a great mom to Wes.

Nothing big. We exchanged cards this morning. I actually found one that plays 'our song': I Only Have Eyes for You.

Maybe a dinner/movie when the calendar allows. Which, given our current load, may be around 2014.
