This may sound strange, but here goes. Bogey wont stop licking/biting at Calli's ears. Mind you hes not actually biting, just playing, but the poor girls ears are soaked half the time. Hes driving me crazy, its like hes obsessed!

He knows leave it, but it just doesn't seem to pertain to her ears. And when he does, within minutes hes back at it.

So what can I do? Reinforce the leave it command? Thanks.

LOL, I know! They are in love for sure. I thought about that too, but i didnt want to cause her any problems by doing that. But I guess I could try it?

I dunno .... Maybe try a little patch and see if it causes her irritation?

Well, if Im not mistaken it can be used for dogs who chew on their own hotspots right? I will try a little patch just to be sure.

ask your vet - there are foul tasting ointments to put on incisions and stitches, that would be safer and more comfortable than bitter apple....
