How much should a 9 week old puppy sleep?
    Gryphon sleeps all the time!
I will take him over to my sisters and he will play with her german shepherd for like 30 minutes or so, and then sleep for like an hour. He sleeps after he eats, after he drinks, after he plays, etc etc.
He is the laziest dog that I have ever met!
He sleeps through the night in his kennel, though sometimes still waking up for outing a couple times a night.

Is this normal, or is it something I should be worried about.

LOL totally normal! Enjoy it now because in a few months when he learns to use those little teeth you'll be wanting him to nap! I think I read somewhere about 18 hours a day is normal for a pup of that age. But every dog is different. Good luck.

I remember when Odie slept like that. I remember being able to throw a ball in the house for 5 minutes, and he'd be out like a lite. Now days I could throw the ball for half an hour, and he still wants more.

But yeah, puppys sleep a lot. Don't worry. He'll be hyper as crap in no time. Then you'll wish he was sleeping more.
