We always walk Milly before she gets fed. Dogs can get an upset stomach with forced exercise straight after eating - it may make her vomit. I think about it the same for me - I don't want to exercise straight after eating a big meal.. it'd make me feel sick too!

You need to be careful with excercise and feeding as meals and alot of excercise can cause bloat. I walk alfie 1st then when we get home i give him half hour to calm down THEN feed him. I know your pup probably wont be doing alot of running like Alfie but best to get into a routine

Potter used to be a picky eater and he was more likely to eat if he'd exercised recently, so we'd walk him and then feed him half an hour later. We had no problems. Now that he eats vigorously, we eat and then walk him half an hour late. He had no problem switching.

They get walked and then once their breathing is back to normal, regular rhythm (no panting) then they get fed.

I walk 30 minutes after meals in the morning, and feed 30 minutes after our walk at night.

In the morning, we walk first and then feed. In the evening, we eat first and then walk.

I always feed them first thing in the morning, before their walk. They would not forgive me otherwise. I try and leave an hour between feeding and walking.

In the afternoons I do it either way. Walk before or after, if indeed they get an afternoon walk. If they get a good morning walk, I don't always walk them again.
