    DefaultHousebreaking Woes

Polly has just been full of it lately! We're finally figuring out the walking issues, but we've got one more big hurdle until we get to "good dog" status. Polly was crated until she was around ten months, and then I decided to move away from that method. She sleeps the night with me, and we've never had any problems. However, when I leave the house, I leave her in a large, warm room that has wood floors, high windows, and is entirely empty, save for a blanket and a few toys. She does well -- no barking or whining -- except when it comes to the bathroom. I frequently return home to find she has peed, and last night pooped. She's never alone for longer than six hours, and she has long since stopped having accidents in the house otherwise. What do I do?

    Ditto.

She probably sleeps most of the day anyways, so it's not a really big difference between the crate and a sectioned off room, except for the "hold it!" inclination.

    It's been a couple months -- think she'll have to be re-trained?

Back to the crate she goes. I doubt you'll have any problem if it's only been a few months just make it a positive place and she'll be good to go.
