    DefaultIt's a boy

Just got word from our breeder that we have puppies. 4 boys and 3 girls. We get a boy.

Zeke (yellowlab) the new born will be joining are family in 8 weeks.

He will be joining Rigley a 15 month old chocolate.

This will be the first time we have two dogs. I am looking for any suggestions on things to do right from the time they first meet and going forward. Also things that did not work out for you. I know this is a vague question but I want to be as prepared as possible.

    Questions that comes to mind.
Rig's is kenneled at night should Zeke's kennel be close by.
Rig's is on adult food. Whats the best way to keep him from Zeke's puppy food.
Can they share the same water bowl.
Any help on the above or anything else will be appreciated.

-Rig's is kenneled at night should Zeke's kennel be close by.

depends -they'll probably be happy if they can see each other, but if one starts throwing tantrums it may set the other off. You'll see what works fairly quickly.

feed them in their crates, or under supervision.

-Can they share the same water bowl.

yes, unless one of them is ill
