To provide some feedback, Me and my Wife are still taking care of my syster's female chocolate labrador called Malu, we've got this appointment when she was 03 months old and now she is almost 05 :-) and her teeth are changing.
I made another posts and I'm very impressed with the positive results we obtained with Malu :-) problems like jumping and biteing almost gone :-) with the tips provided by several people in this forum :-) and with patience and care.
So now I have a very interesting question .... We allow Malu enter inside of the kitchen (sometimes we allow access to the full house) and we noticed that she became less anxious with this attitude. I was talking to my brother in law and a specialist told him that "labradors should not sleep outside", when it's time to sleep (about 10PM) I should lock her on her crate (her house) and try to get her used to that so I can get ride off the "lock" part and she would be able to sleep with us every day :-)
Me and my wife would love to sleep with Malu inside of my syster's house but we're concerned about her "needs" I mean ... not sure if she will urinate inside of the house and we are not sure if she can handle her needs for about 07 hours ....
Could someone clarify this point ?
Thank you very much
She's 5 months old now? If you limit her water after 6 or 7 p.m. and take her out to potty just before you go to bed she should be fine.
What do you mean her teeth are changing? The baby teeth are being replaced by adult teeth I assume? I'm also not sure by what you mean by you're taking care of your sisters dog for so long. Where is she? Are you not planning on keeping this dog yourself?
