I was crying like a baby. I know it's going to be fine. I guess I never thought I would be this attached.
She'll be fine. Just tell yourself that spaying/neutering is a standard prodecure that most vets have preformed hundreds of times. Ask them for reassurance if you are really worried.
It's not so much nervous, it's more that I miss her. She is like my child.
I hope you don't have any vacations planned then...
I TOTALLY know how you feel. Marlan just got done about a month ago. It was so sad! It took about a week for him to get his spunk back, but he is fine now. Good luck!
No vacations right now, when we do decide to go my mother will be watching her.
Thanks for the kind words, it helps knowing I am not the only one that is crazy with their pup. BTW your pup is adorable, gorgeous coloring!
I can only imagine what you are feeling right now. I still have yet to go through that. I know I'm going to be a nervous wreck. Your baby will be okay though; she'll be fine, and so will you! I'm sending good thoughts to you and your pup. Let us know how she and you are doing. By the way, just curious......how old is she?
Hang in there. It'll all soon be in the past and you'll both be back to normal in no time!
I brought Sadie home yesterday, she is doing really well. She was 18 weeks old. After posting some felt it was too early but I did decide to let my vet tell me what was best. Luckily I did take her when I did b/c she was just about to go into a "silent heat". The vet told me that when he spayed her her ovaries were really swollen and she would have gone into heat soon had we not have spayed her when we did. Good luck!
