Sami lost teeth for maybe a month to 6 weeks, if I recall correctly. The baby teeth are replaced by adult teeth in practically the blink of the eye -- totally unlike our human children!

They lose them all. The adult teeth should all be in place before 6 months

OK so Sadie must be almost done losing hers then. For sure she has lost all 8 front teeth, not sure about any other as she won't let me look to closely at those. I was just wondering, because she seems to loose 2 to 3 teeth at a time. Just yesterday she lost 3 and the week before she lost 2 or 3 within a couple days. I guess I just wasn't sure if she would be losing any of her molars too, but apparently she will. Thanks!

Puppies have 28 baby teeth and will loose them all starting with the incisors the front 12 teeth between the canines, then they will either get their pre molar(right behind the canine) or loose the 3 behind the canines and then the molars the last two teeth they should get between around 6 months or so. Yes they loose them quickly I have been trying to save some of Sarah's baby teeth, I have some of Annie's my first rescue and Bailey's but still havent saved one of Sarahs'. I believe they will actually have a total of 42 teeth as an adult.
