    Are dogs allowed to fly on their own? By that, I mean do they have to be accompanied by their owners on the same flight? (I know they travel in the hold, but hopefully you get my point).
    We're relocating overseas next year, and Rocksy may have to be taken to the airport by a friend of ours if we have to leave before she is eligible to enter her new country. We'll obviously be there to meet her at the other end.

    Does anyone know if this would be OK?

    And by the way, the most she'll have to stay here with our friend is three weeks...

    No they are not required to travel with people...but each airline has specific paperwork and restrictions to go along with it. No airline will deliver live animals if the temps in either location are above 85 degrees and below something.

    Research the websites for the carriers and make sure you know what it takes to ship a dog overseas.
