Well, tomorrow we leave for vacation and taking Zora to the kennel. I know, I know some say she's too young, but this was our only option. We rented the condo on the beach before we got her, and they don't allow pets. The kennel is very nice, but I know it's not like home. I just don't want her to think we're leaving here there* :'(. I'm very sad, Please say a blessing for her that she'll have a good time and get plenty of love from the workers. Thanks.

She will be just fine. I bet she will be spoilted rotten and enjoy all the attention.
You have a great holiday and don't be sad.
Look forward to seeing pics when you return.
I agree. She will be fine. Mine enjoy the break when we go away and I am sure your girl will too. Giving them a break from their regular routine is a good thing. It makes them more adaptable.
I was worried just like you too when I left Buck at the Kennel for the weekend.
But he was just fine! Does your kennel have a doggy daycare program along with the boarding? Mine did and it was only 10 bucks more a day to have him be at doggy daycare during the day. We were able to see him in daycare through a webcam the place has set up and he was having too much fun during the day to miss us (which is what I wanted) and was well tired out during the evening to cause any trouble. ;D
Your furbaby will have a great time!! So, make sure you have a great time during your vacation as well ;D Hopefully next time you can bring her along with you

Don't worry, she will probably love it. We are leaving Kenda for the weekend and i know when it comes time to pick her up, if she could speak, she will say "Five more minutes Mom, Please!"
I picked her up from her Doggie Day care once (where she is being boarded) and I was earlier and she was in the last play group of the day, I had to wait because she would not come in. I guess she was not done playing yet!
What mom?<br />
I know EXACTLY what you are going through. We had to put Cooper in a kennel when he was not quite a year old. It was the first time he'd been apart from us. I sat in the truck and bawled my eyes out after leaving him inside. One of the workers came out and told me he'd be just fine. And she was absolutely right! (I think I drove my husband nuts though because almost hourly I'd say, "I wonder how Cooper is doing?") ;D
Have a great holiday!

This is all going to be harder on you then the dog! :PWe crated Kimba at 7 months for 2 weeks!! (We were going overseas to get married) and he survived. Heck, he came home and had learned from the kennel to curb his asking to go out from every 1-2 hours to 6!!!
Don't be sad! See the situation like this: Little Zora will have a little vacation too!
