Do puppies experience growing pains like children do?
I think it is called "pano," which is short for panosteitis. Try a google search, or perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Throw the ball, damn it!
Yup. Pano is commonly referred to as growing pains.
While Pano is commonly referred to as "growing pains", I don't know if its the same thing as what children have.
Pano is the condition where the bones in the legs grow unevenly. Because of this, there can be pain and a wandering lameness between the legs effected by this.
That's true - In our house, with our 13 y.o., growing pains means a lot of door-slamming, crying, drama, moodiness, and yelling. Wesley never did any of that!Originally Posted by CYNLABS
