    Kendra sure is a cutie!

I really am not meaning to be rude, but I need to say something: the collar you have her in in your (really adorable) picture is not an appropriate collar for everyday wear for your dog. It is a training collar, and can cause real damage to Kendra if she (God forbid) gets it caught on something. It could actually strangle her to death. Several dogs on this board have become trapped by their collars, although none (thank goodness) were wearing this type of collar at the time - so it really can happen! My own dog, Jacob, got trapped when his collar became attached to a object. Who knows how they get into the things they do! I personally like the convenience of being able to slip the collar on and off without a buckle, so I use a Martingale collar on Jacob, Aly, and Tatum for everyday use.

I just wanted to put a bug in your ear, so to speak, about the possibility of changing out that collar you have her in in the pic.

I use this collar only for training purposes. Thanks for the thoughts!

That was good of you to post that Jenn, even if she already knew. Alot of people have no idea about what collar is for what.

From the picture, it looked like a choke collar. It had tags attached to it, which is why I made the assumption that it might be more of a day-to-day collar.

    No offence intended.
