DefaultSo when does the crate become too small?

I have seen some discussion on a crate being too big, but what about the opposite? The crate we have is a borrowed one from a friend when we got Prince. Now that he is almost 5 months old I am wondering when we will need to get a new crate that will hold him when he is full grown. Not real sure how big this one crate is, but I know Prince can stretch out almost end to end in it. How much room does he need in there once he is full grown?

He needs to be able to stand up, turn around comfortably, and stretch out. Sounds like you are on the right track.

If your pup is potty trained, you can get as big as you want. Allie has a HUGE crate. She can stand, turn around, and really sprawl out. This crate never moves from our kitchen, we have a smaller one that is better for travel. Its not as confortable...
