    DefaultPuppy shopping list

Okay, so here's the deal. My breeder provides me with the following when I bring Bali home:

    Crate and pad
    Stainless steel bowls
    Collar, leash, personalized tag
    1 mo. supply puppy food
Toy bin with several chew toys and balls
    1 mo. flee/tick meds
    Labrador Retriever for Dummies
    Nail trimmers
    Puppy shampoo
    Brush and toothbrush

I am trying to make a list with anything else I may need to pick up before hand, and so far all I can really come up with is bitter apple spray, a 10 foot longe line, puppy treats, and bells for training. Am I missing anything? Recommendations?

    All advice appreaciated.

Wow!! That's great! You don't need much of anything. Seems like you have the necessities and with your list you should be all set. If you find you need anything else, then you can always shop after you bring puppy home.

    POOP BAGS!!! ;D

Ear cleaning stuff (Ender had an ear infection before he ever set paw in LakeMichigan)
    Quickbath puppy wipes
    Soccerball
Super Absorbant pet towels... a few of these
DOG OWNER'S HOME VETERINARY HANBOOK by Giffin and Carlson (A must especially if you are neurotic like me)
    4' leash (a must)
Extra collar especially if you plan on doing any swimming to exercise that pup (ok this could probably wait a bit)
    NATURE'S MIRACLE!

Uhh..... I'll let you know if I think of anything else.

Ah yeah, Nature's Miracle, it is a must! I use shopping bags for poop bags and baby wipes for quick wipe offs. Much cheaper than puppy wipes. If he stinks I use a 50/50 solution of listerine and water in a spray bottle. Works well.

Yep, I will have to get some nature's miracle. I too use baby wipes since you can buy them for so much less at Wal-Mart, but I will have to add some of these other things to my list. Thanks for all of the suggestions, and I will be sure to check out that sirius puppy training (more in depth that is) after my finals this week.

Four weeks. It is still a ways off, but I will be pretty busy up until then and would like to be as prepared as possible. It will fly by!

Shane and I are very excited puppy parents!
