    DefaultBell training

For those of you who bell potty train, where did you find bells this time of year???? We use to have a sleigh bells that hung on our front door at Christmas but I can't find them anywhere in our house. I know they'd be easy to find in the stores if it was closer to the holidays. Any suggestions??

I bought mine around the holidays at a craft store, but I do know that you can find them online. Just do a google search on "leather sleigh bells" (or something like that).

Or if you feel like you want some "designer" ones that match the color of your sofa or something...

I use an office bell that I sit on the floor at the front door. Works like a charm and no scratch marks on the door.

Hey Lindsay, did you purchase all of this kind of stuff before Ender came home? I am trying to come up with a list of things to get for Bali before he comes home so that I am as prepared as possible. Would you recommend the bell right away?

    Sorry...not trying to hijack!

I just went to a craft store and bought some bells and leather lacing. Just started it yesterday so we'll see if he figures it out.

I taught Sami by touching her nose to the bells everytime we went out. Then I would praise the dickens out of her. Within a few days she started ringing the bells. The funny thing is now she will ring them, and if we don't come the first time, she'll ring them longer and louder. ;D

That's great! He seems to be ringing the bell, not sure if it's coincidence though.
