    Defaultretraining housetraining?

I have a 25 month old lab. His name is walter. He is housetrained...or so I thought he was...

The past 2 or 3 weeks, he's been pooping and peeing in the house. Before, he would stand by the door. He also had a pretty fixed schedule.

I take him out in the morning, and then once when I get home. And when I get home, he pees and poos, and I know that he'll be fine until the next morning.

What's happening to him? I can't trust him out of his crate? When he turned 18 months or so, we stopped using the crate, and he had been fine...

is this normal? Please any suggestions, I am soo frustrated with him. I found pee minutes after he did it, and I walked him up to the pee, and told him NO!

    What do I do?

    Thanks.

I would take him to the vets and rule out a medical problem.

I crated my lab till she was about 4 or 5 years old when I was not around. Not to mention that was were she went when she layed down anyway. I let her around the house when she turned like 6 and she seemed fine. I would crate your baby again if you are not around.

It seems to me, that you would first have him checked by the vet, then go back to square one with the potty training. I would think it would be easier this time.
