Ok Layla has been doing this for 2 days now...and I am ready to pull my hair out.
She follows me all around the house-all day...sounds cute but what she is doing is sniffing my hands. Not only is she sniffing my hands, she jumps and bites at them too thinking I have treats all the time for her. It has gotten so bad, that I have to sit on the couch or not play with her at all.
It is at the frustrating point where we have stopped giving her all treats; and she is still doing it.
Ours nipped at our hands too, at that age....ooohhhh that puppy nipping!
He drew blood with those baby teeth! We'd re-direct him, putting a him chew toy in his mouth when he went for the hands. Also, saying OUCH and walking away; and gently holding his muzzle closed while saying 'NO BITE'. It helped a lot, but didn't stop it completely. When he was about 5 mos., all that nipping quit, suddenly, when the baby teeth were gone. I know what you mean, though...it got to the point we didn't wanna even pet ours.
(Side note...since I noticed he always stared at my hands, I used that to train him using only hand signals; he'll sit, wait, and come with just hand signals now)
