QuestionHome alone - for how long?

    Hi all,

I wanted to know, by all your experiences, how long can we keep the puppy by himself? A couple of months back we got into a situation where there was no one to take care of Paris. So I would drop by from work post lunch, spend some time with him and then go back to work. this went on for almost two months until recently. The work load has increased in office and on some days I cant go back during the afternoon. So, at a stretch he is alone for around 8 hours. Is it very long? I don't normally leave him in crate as I have cornered out a part of the house only for him which is bigger than the crate so he has some space to roam around.

When I go back from work, he seems all fine and doesn't show any bad reaction. But I do sometime wonder if it is ok to leave him alone like that for so long? He is 8 and a half months old.

    Thanks for your inputs,

    Cheers!

If you are able to have someone stop by and give your puppy a potty break mid-way through the day it would be ideal. 8 hours is a long time and I definitely would not leave him any longer than that.
