    DefaultQuestions

I am a newbie, so please be kind with me and my questions!
    1) we picked up Libby on Saturday, at 9 months, took her to our vet yesterday and he called back today saying stool showed ringworm, is this common? Breeder had her wormed twice.
    2) we are crate training and yesterday had no accidents but today she peed her crate, is this common?

Thanks for the answers in advance, you are my only resource?

I thought ringworm was a fungus and not really a worm at all. ?? Did the Vet maybe say roundworm?

Ringworm is a fungal infection on the skin. Not normal and contagious. Roundworms are in stool, normal, and easily treated by the vet. 9 weeks old can't hold it but a few hours max.

Did you take her to potty before putting her in the crate? How long was she in the crate, and how big is the crate?

My wife misunderstood the voice message and indeed the vet said ROUND worm not ring worm! Her crate is sectioned and is the appropriate size. I think it was just a case of us pushing the time in the crate a bit to much.

    hi and welcome.
9 weeks is young to not expect accidents but get a schedule going where you take her out right after eating, and watch like a hawk, sometimes tethering to you with the leash, because babies that young need to go out a lot. sometimes every 20 minutes or so, in the very very beginning.
