DefaultCan you help me identify how old my pup is?

So I got a black lab puppy a few days ago. My friend picked the puppy up from an abandoned house but since he couldn't care for it, he gave it to me. She was calm the first day but then started nipping. I walk her on a leash through my backyard but insists on chewing it. She also appears to be potty trained but it may only be her natural instinct. She whimpers so I take her out and she does her bushiness. I haven't had time to go to the vet but will be taking her tomorrow to get her shots since I have no clue if she has any. This is my first dog so I dont know if I need her age to get shots. Also I want to have an idea about her age so I can get her registered after I get her spayed.

    Her approx. measurements:
    Front paws to shoulders: 10-11"
    Shoulders to base of tail:11.5"
Shoulders to tip of tail: 16"
    Weight: 13.5lbs.

I couldn't get a picture of her teeth since she keeps trying to mouth.

    Thanks in advance.

register her with who or what?

A vet that can touch and feel her is really your best bet. much will depend on her teeth, if she still has puppy teeth and when they start to fall out.

She's sweet! I'm glad you're going to give her a home!

I would guess she's between 10-12 wks old but a vet will know for sure.

She sure is cute. How could anyone abandon her! Mine chews his leash too. I can get him to walk on it to a point, but everything right now is chew chew chew. He's 10 weeks.

Thanks! The vet said she was about 3 month old.
    Thanks for the compliments too!
