    DefaultSplashing Good Fun

Just given DJ his 1st bath in the tub. Oh what fun, we are soaked! I took a whole load of treats, wacked up the heating & warmed a big towel - not sure if he'd be scared? Well, he absolutely loved it. He splashed & splashed and chased the sponge. We kept it short and when he was being dried off he kept trying to climb back in. Best game in the world, can't wait for the next one!

    glad he had fun.

keep in mind labs shouldn't get too many baths. Unless he has rolled in poop and is all stinky (or during house training you may have to do it more) but otherwise a good brushing, wipe dirty spots with a cloth or just rinse with water.

Thanks. He was coated in mud & we wanted to give him his 1st bathtime experience before he got much older (5 1/2 months). We only used water & a good brush because I was worried about aggravating his eyes. Although they're looking much better we're still using the eye ointment.
