    DefaultBest Toys for Labs

We got our lab, Duke, in June and he is now about 6 months old. Outside of the harder style nylabones I cant seem to find any dog toys that he doesn't destroy. Nylabones get kind of boring, so I was hoping to find him something new. I swear, once I give him a toy he is on a mission to destroy it! We bought this "durable" rope/ball combo thing from the store yesterday (paid almost $15) and I had to take it away from him last night or it wouldn't have lasted through the evening.

    Any recommendations?

max will pull the cover off a tennis ball in a few minutes. Nylabbones and kongs are great. We also get marrow bones from a butcher shop. They like a dollar or two each and last about 4 days. Then the marrow starts to smell.

Also kong has a wobble that works really well. Been feeding max his breakfast in this instead of a bowl. Keeps him occupied while I get ready.
Max's favorite place, a walk through a state park with the kids

Get him a Goughnut! He will never destroy it. And if he does, you send it back and they replace it for you for free. But he won't destroy it.

If dogs do not go to heaven, then I prefer to follow them where they go.

Mine have a lot of fun with the skins of the toys they have destuffed. I don't consider a toy dead until the parts are too tiny for them to do anything with.

I'm no help, Diesel doesn't wreck his toys. He's 2.5 years old & still has some from when he was like 8 weeks! The only toys he has ever ruined are the Hartz Nose Divers, but they are poorly made, the seams can easily be pulled apart.

Kongs are good, sturdy toys for Labs.

Oh yeah! Those destuffed toys are a hit, the raccoon is my personal favorite.

Our dog quickly destroyed 3 toys but he's met his match with the KONG wubba. It sort of looks like an octopus with a squeaky ball in the top. Flynn loves it and he tries hard to tear the fabric but just can't do it. He destroyed one of those long stuffed toys in about 3minutes flat.
