Kongs, Nylabones, antlers and balls. Be careful with stuffed toys, many tear them up very quickly and it only takes a second for an accident to happen. Blockages from swallowing parts of the stuffed toy or other injuries happen much too often and are so easily prevented.

We have all kinds of dog toys laying around, but their favorite is a tennis ball that has a strap attached to it for throwing. We got them from the dollar store and they just love them. They are easy to throw too!

Antlers, a boat buoy, a soccer ball and a lamb chop toy are the favs here.

Be careful with the tennis balls - the surface of a tennis ball is very, very abrasive and can ruin your dog's teeth. If she chews on it - take it away from her.

Harper will be 3 months this week and we got him a few days after 8wks. He loves a tennis ball with a rope attached. It also helps us stay away from the "sharp side" when playing. He plays with the rope side more than the ball right now. He also loves the puppy nylabone. His favorite "toy" by far though is any cardboard tube or box that we let him have. He tears it up without eating the pieces, but I pick them up quickly even so. He also like to snuggle with a stuffed duck when sleeping, but as the previous poster said, you have to watch for tears.

I've never heard that about tennis balls... thanks for the info. They usually handle it by the strap and just bring it to me, drop it, and wait for me to throw it again.
