    Defaultupdate on Spike

I don't know what to write - he confuses us lol. He's still the "same". Brought him to the breeders vet - very old fashioned vet - the kind you are hard pressed to find anymore. Straightforward, gentle man. He took his urine and blood. His Hymatcryt ? (red blood cells) are up 10 points from last week. Still 9 points short of the low end of the acceptable range but with this growth it's looking promising The others - BUN, creatine & phosphorus are about the same. He put him on Science diet u/d and we will check those numbers in a week or so. Still waiting on tests to see if he's peeing out protein and the breeder wanted a EIC test done because I had him outside playing and his legs got all wobbly and he almost collapsed but didn't. I don't know if the humidity had something to do with him - he didn't play much. He needs to get back to walking to build up his stamina again. i'll frontline him today. The vet mentioned spraying him with a vinegar/water mix to deter fleas and ticks - anyone heard of that? Anyway, Spike seems alot calmer and more focused so I hope the food is doing good things.

Glad to see the update on Spike. Hope his numbers continue to improve and that he's able to get back to playing like the puppy he is.
    Continued good thoughts for Spikey!

I think about Spike all the time!!! I hope his numbers get to where they need to be and that he's feeling like his young self soon!

The vinegar and water mix has me curious. Vinegar is awesome for many things... I'm going to do some more checking on that one.
