    DefaultSleeping a LOT today

Harper has slept most of today away - a big change because this little guy is usually awake every few hours for half an hour or more when we play and train. Today he's only been outside twice and has just taken himself to his crate for a nap.

Does this happen with puppies, they just get pooped?? He's eating/drinking/playing fine.

Also, last night we had a really hot night where as today is much cooler (about 15 degrees C cooler) - does the weather make a difference??

I'm not overly worried, just curious about the change in behaviour.

yes the weather makes a difference. And he's still a baby, got lots of growing to do yet... so he'll sleep alot between now and 12 weeks. Just wait, in 4 months you will wish he was still sleeping lots rather than destroying your shoes... haha

Thanks, Sarah. Like I said, I wasn't really worried about him sleeping - I actually think his snoring is very cute! (Same can't be said for my husband!) It was just strange that yesterday he was so alert and today he was so tired!

I don't know if it's the weather. I'm off on weekends, and it was so nice, in low 70s, last weekend, so I took Jersey for 3 long walks after meals. She was so pooped! She went to sleep an hour early.

Could also be that he did not sleep well after the accident last night.
